Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Telemetry RN for a 23-bed unit in Conroe, TX. This role is a 91-week contract with a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM 12-hour day shift.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of acute care Med/Surg Tele or step-down experience, current BLS, and familiarity with Expanse EMR. Travel nurses are expected to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and ensure timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of acute care in Med/Surg Tele or step-down.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with Expanse EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab draws, IV insertions, and Foley insertions.
• Administer IV fluids and medications, including antibiotics.
• Prepare patients for surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians.
• Attend daily huddles and complete required daily charting.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for our 2 North unit. This unit has 23 beds with a staff of 37, including a charge nurse, nurses, techs, and a unit secretary on each shift. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Candidates with experience in the Expanse EMR and familiarity with admissions and discharges will be prioritized.
