Description:The Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide post-operative care for various surgical patients.Patient populations may include those recovering from CABG, TAVR, general surgery, bariatric procedures, and thoracic surgeries.The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients on telemetry while ensuring stability and safety.Additional responsibilities include managing cardiac drips and vasoactive drips without titration.The ideal candidate should be experienced in telemonitoring and be adept at interpreting dysrhythmias.Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.The role may include tasks such as administering blood products, managing central lines, and providing wound care.Nurses will also be expected to perform phlebotomy and start and maintain IVs.As part of the care team, the Telemetry Registered Nurse will collaborate with various support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.This position may require floating to different units based on patient care needs.
