Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with applicable state RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; cardiac/critical care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care for immunocompromised patients undergoing autologous/allogeneic bone marrow transplants and stem cell infusions.
• Lead nursing team initiatives, education, and quality improvements.
• Coordinate patient/family education and transitions of care within Mayo Clinic Nursing Care Model.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with unit standards and infection control policies.
