Eskenazi Health is seeking an RN Talent Acquisition Consultant to act as a strategic recruitment partner, educator, and healthcare career ambassador. You will recruit top clinical talent and educate candidates, students, and hiring leaders about opportunities at Eskenazi Health.

The role collaborates with nursing leadership to develop innovative recruitment strategies, guide candidates through hiring, and strengthen the workforce that delivers exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current Indiana RN license or eligibility for Indiana RN licensure.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of acute care nursing experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce development, or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

Eskenazi Health is seeking an RN Talent Acquisition Consultant to serve as a strategic recruitment partner, educator, and healthcare career ambassador.

In this role, you'll leverage your clinical expertise to recruit exceptional nursing and healthcare talent while educating candidates, students, community partners, and hiring leaders about career opportunities throughout Eskenazi Health. From attending nursing school events and career fairs to advising leaders on workforce strategies and guiding candidates through the hiring process, you'll play a vital role in building the teams that deliver exceptional patient care.

About the Role

The RN Talent Acquisition Consultant serves as a strategic healthcare recruiter, educator, and workforce development partner responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top clinical talent across Eskenazi Health.

This role goes beyond traditional recruiting. The ideal candidate enjoys teaching, presenting, mentoring, relationship-building, and helping others discover meaningful healthcare careers. You will collaborate closely with nursing leadership and operational teams to develop innovative recruitment strategies, educate prospective candidates, and support workforce planning initiatives that strengthen the healthcare community.

What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for nursing, allied health, advanced practice providers, and other clinical positions.
  • Source, screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill healthcare positions.
  • Guide candidates through the hiring process while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Partner with leaders to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
  • Educate candidates about career opportunities, professional growth pathways, and the Eskenazi Health culture.
  • Represent Eskenazi Health at nursing schools, career fairs, conferences, community events, and professional organizations.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to students, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
  • Support the development of workforce pipelines through partnership and outreach initiatives.
  • Serve as a healthcare career resource and ambassador for Eskenazi Health.
Strategic Partnership & Consultation
  • Advise leaders on recruitment trends, workforce challenges, and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Stay informed on nursing and healthcare labor market trends, compensation, and competitive intelligence.
  • Consult with hiring managers on candidate selection and workforce planning.
  • Support internal career growth and employee mobility initiatives.
Recruitment Operations & Compliance
  • Coordinate candidate screening, licensure verification, reference checks, and background investigations.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Partner with Occupational Health and Human Resources teams to facilitate onboarding and pre-employment processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for Indiana RN licensure.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of acute care nursing experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce development, healthcare outreach, human resources, or a related area preferred.
