Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Surgical Oncology Med/Surg, full-time Nights (7pm-7am) in the 9 West unit. The role includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a student loan contribution up to $20k.

Responsibilities include patient-centered nursing care, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team to develop and evaluate care plans. Certifications required: RN and BCLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience required
• RN license and state licensure required
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS preferred

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centered care using nursing process and protocols.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff for care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
