Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, California is hiring a registered nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care and lead patient-centered care initiatives.

You will assess patient and family health needs, develop, implement and evaluate nursing care plans for diverse age groups, and uphold our mission, values and quality improvement goals. Strong clinical leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN School of Nursing.
• One year of telemetry acute care experience.
• Active RN license in the State of California.
• BLS certification - American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification - American Heart Association.
• PALS certification - American Heart Association, within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care and lead patient-centered care initiatives.
• Assess patient/family health needs and develop, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Provide technical nursing care to diverse age groups (neonatal to geriatric).
• Uphold the Organization's Mission, Core Values and quality improvement plans.
• Demonstrate leadership, sound clinical judgment and effective communication.
