Job summary

UCHealth in Colorado seeks an experienced RN for our outpatient Surgery Center to deliver compassionate perioperative care across pre‑op, intra‑op and PACU. You’ll assess patients, circulate and/or scrub, administer medications and monitor surgical patients, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia and interdisciplinary teams.

The role supports safety, infection prevention and quality initiatives in a patient‑first, learning‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active registered nursing license in Colorado.
• Experience in perioperative care across pre‑op, intra‑op and PACU settings.
• Ability to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessment and monitoring in perioperative phases.
• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and ensure patient safety throughout care.
• Monitor patients’ status and respond to changes in condition.
• Support infection prevention and participate in quality initiatives.
