Job summary

Noble Health Care Center in Noble, OK is seeking an RN Supervisor Weekends to lead our nursing team in a long-term and rehabilitative care setting. You will oversee charge nurses, ensure clinical systems function properly, and help deliver compassionate, high-quality resident care.

As a Registered Nurse with supervisory experience, you will help plan care, monitor resident needs, and support a positive resident experience while upholding standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Prior supervisory/management experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise charge nurses and caregiving staff to maintain care quality.
• Monitor clinical systems and programs for proper operation.
• Oversee resident care and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Plan, assign, and coordinate staff tasks and schedules.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching or discipline as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.

RN Responsibilities:

• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices.
• Observing patients, charting, and reporting changes in patients conditions
• Answering patients calls and determining how to assist them
• Providing basic patient care or treatments
• Working as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies/secures equipment supplies
• Directs/oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes/coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversees/monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
• Monitor’s infection control compliance.
• Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

RN Requirements:

• Current, valid licensure as a RN in state of practice
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred
• Management/Supervisory experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed
