Job summary

Avant Rehabilitation & Care Center in Trenton, NJ is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for weekend shifts to lead the Nursing Department and support the DON/ADON in delivering high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds a NJ RN license, has 2+ years in long-term care with management experience, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills to ensure compliant, compassionate care at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years progressive nursing in Long Term Care with managerial experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to work in Trenton, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON and ADON to evaluate, and direct day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Facility.
• Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions.
• Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the DON and ADON.
• Make daily rounds of the Nursing Services Department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
