Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an RN supervisor to lead the Prior Authorization, Concurrent Review, and Retrospective Review teams within Utilization Management. The role ensures adherence to regulatory and quality standards while developing policies and coaching staff.

Remote/hybrid options are available, with California licensing emphasized for eligibility. The successful candidate will hold a nursing degree and have strong UM principles, with 3–5 years in managed care environments preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School Nursing or Bachelor's degree.
• Strong knowledge of appeals and utilization management principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Prior Authorization, Concurrent Review, and Retrospective Review teams.
• Monitors UM resources to ensure adherence to standards.
• Educates and provides resources for UM team on initiatives.
• Leads and champions change within scope of responsibility.
• Performs onboarding, hiring and training of UM team members.
