Arbol Healthcare Center of Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking a full-time RN Nursing Supervisor for the PM shift in a Skilled Nursing Facility. SNF experience and flexible weekend availability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN valid in the same state as the facility.
• RN Supervisor SNF experience preferred
• Current valid CPR certification required
• One year staff nurse and three years management experience in an acute care facility
• Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program required

Responsibilities

• Delegate administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for assigned duties.
• Maintain acceptable nursing practice and professional decorum.
• Be courteous and cooperative with staff, residents and the public.
• Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations governing long-term care facilities.
• Knowledge and implementation of the facility's policies and procedures.
• Direct and assist Licensed Nurses in clinical performance areas.
• Perform function and responsibilities of a Charge Nurse as assigned.
• Perform responsibilities of Assistant Director of Nursing Services on the day shift as directed.
• React appropriately to emergencies and disasters.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Notify Administrator or Director of Nursing of serious situations.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
