Legacy Pointe at UCF is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care in a Skilled Nursing Facility, supervising CNAs and ensuring high-quality resident care. The role requires an active Florida RN license and CPR/AED certification, with experience in long-term care preferred.

The RN will collaborate with DON/ADON and nursing leadership to coordinate resident care, document accurately, and adhere to SNF regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (Required).
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) regulations and compliance standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report significant changes to the DON, ADON, or Nurse Supervisors.
• Supervise CNAs, ensuring proper documentation, adherence to care plans, and assistance with resident needs.
• Conduct and receive shift reports at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
• Assist in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and health conditions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal SNF regulations.
