Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center in Miami, FL seeks an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor for per diem weekend night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:30 am). You will supervise per diem nursing staff, assess patient needs, and collaborate with therapists, physicians, and support staff to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, maintaining accurate records, educating patients, and supporting seamless transitions across departments.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and any required certifications.
• 2 years of RN supervisor experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to pass Level 2 background screening Florida Clearinghouse.

About the Role:

As a Per Diem RN Weekend Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from short-term rehabilitation to long-term care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising Per Diem nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care

• Assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

• Coordinating patient care with therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

• Supporting identify-specific services and providing exceptional care to our patients

• Participating in patient education and counseling, as needed

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

• Current RN license and pending certifications, as required
