Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Pediatric ED Clinical Nurse Coord RN - Supervisor to join our team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy pediatric emergency department and coordinating pathways with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include admission/discharge coordination, staff coaching, and scheduling support, with required pediatric ER RN experience and leadership skills. This is a full-time day shift position in a major tertiary care center.

Qualifications

• : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• : Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of start
• : Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within 18 months of start
• : PALS Pediatric Life Support required within 18 months of start
• : Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 18 months
• : RN license required for employment
• : BSN degree required
• : Minimum 1 year RN experience in Pediatric Emergency Department
• : Charge RN experience is preferred

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
