Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold a current state license and renewal in accordance with State Board standards.
• Long term acute care and rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Critical Care experience recommended.
• Read, write, and speak English with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• PICC Line Insertion Certification recognized.
• Specialty Certification recognized.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing supervision in planning for and provisioning of nursing care to patients and directs and evaluates care given by other licensed nurses and personnel.
• Educates, assesses needs, plans for, implements, evaluates and documents care being provided by nursing staff to each patient.
• Responsible for nursing care directly provided by the RN and the care provided by others under her/his supervision.
