Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Weekend Supervisor in Orthopedics to help plan, coordinate and evaluate operations and patient care in the department, serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients and performing staff nurse duties as needed.

The ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited nursing program, holds an RN license in the state, has 2–3 years of patient care experience, and demonstrates strong supervisory skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN license or Temporary Permit in the state of practice.
  • 2–3 years of patient care experience.
  • CRRN certification desirable; rehabilitation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support department operations and coordinate patient care.

Role Overview:

Responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of operations and patient care in the designated department. Acts as a clinical resource for staff and patients, serving as a staff nurse when needed, and assuming managerial duties delegated by a supervisor. Ensures duties align with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
  • Current RN license or Temporary Permit in the state of practice
  • Two to three years of patient care experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Strong supervisory or management background
  • Desired certifications: CRRN
  • Rehabilitation experience is a plus
