Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time RN supervisor for the 9A Stroke Neuro Telemetry unit at Carolinas Medical Center. The role supports nursing leadership, supervising staff, and coordinating care delivery to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in appropriate state (or compact)
• BSN preferred; BSN program within 3 years if not yet completed
• BLS required; leadership/management certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports the manager to enhance quality and nursing practice
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing staff
• Coordinates shift communication through meetings/huddles
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and policies
• Rounds on patients and staff to assess care quality and satisfaction
• Delegates care tasks to appropriate healthcare workers
• Identifies outcomes and provides direction for continuity of care
