Glen Cove Center for Nursing and Rehab in Glen Cove, NY is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. The role oversees the unit's care quality and coordinates nursing services to residents.

Shifts are rotating weekends. We offer excellent benefits, including 401(k), health, vision, dental insurance and PTO. CPT approved site and opportunities to lead a dedicated care team.

Formación

• Current RN license is required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Notify physician and family about changes in resident condition or incidents.
• Assume responsibilities of the RN Supervisor in absence or as directed by the DNS/ADNS.
• Complete routine documentation and audits as required.
• Lead and motivate the care team.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per residents' needs.
• Guide staff and ensure tasks are completed.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ symptoms and behavior.
• Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team and physicians.
• Report to the Director of Nursing.

Glen Cove for Rehab and Nursing has an opportunity for a Full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS (Including but not limited to):

Our RN's are responsible for the overall operation and optimal quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit.

Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contacts the resident's physician and family to notify them of a change in the resident's condition or accident/incident; also notifies the supervisor covering.
• Assumes all responsibilities of the RN Supervisor in his/her absence or as directed by the DNS/ADNS.
• Assumes independent responsibility for completing the required routine documentation and auditing as required.
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate the team.
• Comply with all state requirements and facility policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
• Have the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to the individualized needs.
• Guides the staff and ensures tasks are being completed.
• Monitors and reports changes in residents’ symptoms and behavior.
• Communicates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and or physicians.
• Reports to the Director of Nursing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current RN license
• Reliable transportation and demonstrate excellent work ethic.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
• Supervisory experience is preferred

Job Type: Full -time

Salary: $55-$60 per hour
