**Responsibilities**

  1. Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership to clinical/non-clinical or interdisciplinary teams of licensed and non-licensed caregivers and support staff, ensuring quality patient care and achievement of clinical objectives.
  2. Assess daily patient care needs and develop/distribute patient care assignments to team members, ensuring population-appropriate care.
  3. Delegate duties to team members based on their assessed skills and abilities, in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
  4. Gather information from team members to plan patient care for the shift.
  5. Evaluate the care delivered by staff, providing immediate feedback and coaching, and participate in performance evaluations and corrective actions as needed.
  6. Participate in the hiring process by conducting interviews and making recommendations for new staff members.

**Requirements**

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire or transfer (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)
    • Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire or transfer
  • Education:
    • Required professional licensure/certification and at least 1 year of relevant experience

**Additional Preferences**

  • Must have ED experience
  • Recent leadership experience
