Job summary

Sandy Ridge Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Milton, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor. The role assists the Director of Nursing, coordinating daily nursing operations and ensuring regulatory compliance in a 60-bed facility focused on short-stay rehabilitation and long-term care.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing degree, have CPR certification, and bring at least two years in geriatric care plus one year in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of two years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings.
Minimum of one year of experience as a nursing supervisor, preferably in a nursing home.
Current CPR Certification.
Must meet state licensure requirements and have no disciplinary action on license.

Responsibilities

Plans, organizes and coordinates day-to-day nursing department functions.
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and facility policies.
Reviews staff concerns and prepares necessary reports for the Director of Nursing.
Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies on the unit.
Assists in developing assessments of residents’ nursing needs and assigns nursing duties.
