Pikes Peak Post Acute in New York is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty. Ensure care aligns with federal, state, and local standards and coordinate with the DON/ADON as needed.
Requirements include a BSN, current RN license, CPR certification, and 2+ years supervisory experience in long-term care. PCC EHR experience is preferred.
Status: FT AM/PM
Compensation :$55-$65 (Depend on the experience)
The primary responsibility of the RN Supervisor is to supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility and may be required by the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) when applicable, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Assist with the overall supervision of and management of the nursing staff.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Current Registered Nursing License (RN), current CPR certification.
Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing.
Must remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing at all times.
The essential functions of this position require the following physical abilities: Standing and/or walking very frequently. Sitting occasionally. Reaching with hands and arms frequently, pushing/pulling very frequently. Talking and/or hearing very frequently. Tasting and/or smelling very frequently. Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision with ability to adjust focus.
