Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the nursing team and support clinical services, medication management, service planning, and supervision of nursing staff. You will help ensure residents receive excellent direct care and coordination with health care services as needed.

The role involves supervising staff, verifying medications and orders, participating in assessments, and assisting with move-ins/outs.

Qualifications

• Current RN nursing license is required.
• CPR certification as required by the state.
• Prefer at least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
• Prefer previous supervisory experience in senior living.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and training the nursing staff to ensure quality of care.
• Verifying the proper distribution and documentation of medications, treatments and orders.
• Participating in resident assessments and service planning; coordinating with ancillary care.
• Assists with move-in/move-out processes including tours and family communications.
• Provides direct care during health emergencies or on-call rotations.
• Relays resident concerns to the appropriate department manager.
