Job summary

Autumn Care of Suffolk in Suffolk, VA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will assess residents' needs, develop individualized care plans, administer nursing care, evaluate outcomes, and supervise nursing assistants to ensure the highest quality of care.

This part-time role offers flexible pay options and comprehensive benefits. Shifts are Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license.
• Must possess a current CPR or BLS certification.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer and evaluate nursing care.
• Supervise nursing assistants and other staff in the SNF setting.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local standards and policies.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assess resident’s needs, develop an individualized care plan, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care and supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care in a SNF setting. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our community, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or designee to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN within the state in which you work.

• Must possess a current CPR or BLS certification.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage:

• Part-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, 7:00a - 7:00p

• Wage: $48.00 - $49.00 per hour
