Job summary

Collingswood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor to join our dedicated team in Maryland. This full-time role, Monday through Friday with no weekends, provides clinical leadership to nursing staff and oversight of daily resident care to maintain safety, quality, and compassion.

You will supervise nursing activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Maryland RN license.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to oversee care for multiple residents.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in healthcare.
• No prior supervisory experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Maryland.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.

• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.

• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
