Job summary

AristaCare in New Jersey is seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty, ensuring quality care and compliance with federal, state and local standards. You will supervise nursing staff and promote rehabilitative care approaches.

As Nurse Supervisor you hold administrative authority and are accountable for assigned duties, with shifts 3-11 and 11PM-7AM (Full Time/PRN). Location: 1311 Durham Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080, USA.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or RN program graduate.
• Active, unencumbered RN license for New Jersey.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
• Minimum 12 months training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.

Job description

AristaCare is seeking for an RN Supervisor (Registered Nurse Supervisor) responsible for the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As NurseSupervisor you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Shift: 3-11 & 11PM - 7AM (Full Time/PRN)

Requirements:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must have an active, unencumbered RN license for the state of New Jersey
• Must have, as a minimum, 2 year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.
• Must have, as a minimum, 12 months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
