Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech – Registered Nursing Student to rotate through three acute care units in a per diem capacity. You will gain bedside experience under a licensed nurse, assisting with direct and indirect patient care and supporting treatment plans.

Students must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program and available to complete the required clinical orientation before shifts.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited registered nursing program.
• Completed at least one clinical rotation or Fundamentals of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through three acute care units under a licensed nurse.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care and support treatment plans.
• Help maintain organization and smooth operation of the patient care unit.
• Complete the required clinical orientation prior to shifts.

Education

Enrolled and matriculated in an accredited registered nursing program.

Completed either 1 semester of Clinical rotations and / or Fundamentals of Nursing.
