The RN - Stroke Data Specialist shall be responsible to identify, abstract, and report on all data requirements for a primary Stroke Center, Thrombectomy capable, or a Comprehensive Stroke Program, and to support of the requirements of the American Heart and Stroke Association/GWTG Stroke as directed. This individual will work with all disciplines to ensure core measures are met by evidence base practice, and monitor time sensitive quality indicators to assure timely care of stroke patients. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3 years clinical background with relevant clinical experience. Data management system experience required. Experience in neuroscience nursing or closely related field such as rehab therapy, emergency care, critical care, or research coordinator preferred.
