Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, is offering an RN Stepdown to ICU Career Pathway within 12-18 months. New graduates and experienced nurses are welcome, with sign-on bonuses available up to $5,000 for new grads and up to $10,000 for experienced nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with ADN, Nursing Diploma or BSN.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• New graduates strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Participates in Mercy's RN Residency Program and Growth opportunities across the Mercy system.
