Trinity Health Livonia, a 304-bed acute care hospital in Livonia, MI, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

You will coordinate and evaluate patient care within a designated timeframe, provide teaching, and delegate responsibilities to the healthcare team.

Requirements include Michigan RN licensure, BLS, ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within five years; BSN preferred; electronic systems proficiency encouraged.

This 9-bed Stepdown Unit provides critical care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions. Common diagnoses include respiratory failure, septic shock, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and NSTEMI. This high-acuity environment demands fine attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to respond rapidly to changes in patient condition. Nurses in this unit deliver exceptional care while bridging the gap between intensive care and general medical-surgical settings.

SUMMARY

SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associates degree in Nursing required. BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. BLS required. Previous medical surgical experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
