Job summary

Temple Health in Philadelphia seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of a licensed physician. You will collaborate with patients, families, peers, and the health care team to individualize care using the nursing process.

Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing; PA RN license and BLS; Multi-State Compact RN license. Prior clinical specialty experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.
• PA RN License required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Multi-State Compact RN license required.

Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
