The role provides care for immunosuppressed or musculoskeletal patients under physician oversight, with a Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM schedule, at multiple campuses including North County, West County, South County and Center for Advanced Medicine. • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri and/or Illinois RN licensure per Compact Act.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate a plan of patient care.
• Provides patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures and monitoring patient status.
• Provides education to patients/families regarding disease process and symptom management.
• Maintains medical records with timely documentation of patient information.
• Assists the health care provider with examinations, prescriptions and other direct patient care processes.
• Maintains required skills and competencies and participates in CPR and in-services as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We provide outpatient care Monday- Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. This role will see patients at two or three of our clinics located in North County, West County, South County and our Center for Advanced Medicine location. The Rheumatology division offers a variety of specialized outpatient clinics across the St. Louis area which are designed to individualize our patient’s support and treatment for conditions such as those arising from arthritis, musculoskeletal, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Our supportive and team-focused atmosphere promotes a positive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
