UPMC Altoona is seeking an RN Staff Nurse for the Acute Dialysis unit. The role covers 36 hours per week on day/night shifts with a rotation every other weekend and holidays, and no on-call requirements.
You will join a 5-bed unit working with multidisciplinary teams across ICU, Progressive, Med-Surg, and OR, delivering direct care and engaging in education and leadership activities to support patient outcomes.

Compensation: We offer competitive starting pay, with rates that reflect your nursing education and professional experience. UPMC Altoona RNs benefit from newly enhanced pay, with starting rates increasing by $4/hour, plus an additional $2 shift differential.*
Generous Sign-On Bonus: Sign-on bonus of $15,000 available for eligible candidates (1+ years of RN experience) who commit to a two-year work agreement.

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
