Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Specialty Medical Nursing Units. Experienced nurses, student nurses and recent graduate nurses welcome to apply.

Various shifts and hours with weekend and holiday commitments; open to full-time, part-time and per diem positions. RNs will practice at the top of their license, participate in the Nurse Residency program, and benefit from tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License required prior to start date.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• ASN required; BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in specialty medical nursing units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care.
• Participate in the Nurse Residency program and ongoing education.
• Maintain patient safety and apply evidence-based practices.
