Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Specialty Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in North Little Rock. The role entails utilizing the nursing process to provide safe and compassionate patient care while working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates are new RN graduates or licensed RNs in good standing with a preference for BSN.

Responsibilities include demonstrating clinical competence, understanding organizational policies, and creating an exceptional patient experience. Minimum requirements include healthcare CPR certification, and additional training for specialty units will be provided.

Qualifications

• New RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in Arkansas.
• Healthcare CPR required, some areas may require ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS.
• Ability to practice as a full partner in an interdisciplinary team.

RN Specialty Emergency Room-Emergency Room

The Specialty Registered Nurse at Baptist Health is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and the training provided by Baptist Health to provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking. The RN is responsible to know and understand the policies and processes of the department and the requirements of the organization and use them in a unified workflow with the rest of the healthcare team to create an exceptional patient experience with the best possible outcomes.

Minimum Requirements

• A new RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in good standing to practice in the state of Arkansas. BSN preferred.
• Healthcare CPR required, some areas may require ACLS, PALS and/or NALS - training is provided.
• Specialty units require and will provide specific specialty education.
• Applies basic knowledge and skills to meet standard of care.
• Is able to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.

This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
