Job summary

Baptist Health in Arkansas seeks a Registered Nurse for the Coronary Care Unit on the night shift (1830-0630). The RN will utilize the nursing process and unit training to deliver safe, compassionate care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

The candidate must be a newly licensed RN or an RN in good standing licensed in Arkansas. BSN is preferred; CPR is required and ACLS/PALS/NALS training may be provided if needed.

Summary

A registered nurse at Baptist Health is accountable for utilizing the nursing process and the training provided by Baptist Health to provide safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking. The RN is responsible to know and understand the policies and processes of the department and the requirements of the organization and use them in a unified workflow with the rest of the healthcare team to create an exceptional patient experience with the best possible outcomes.

Other Information

A new RN graduate from an accredited nursing program or Registered Nurse in good standing, and licensed to practice in the state of Arkansas. BSN preferred. Applies basic knowledge and skills to meet standard of care. Is able to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team. Healthcare CPR required, some areas may require ACLS, PALS and/or NALS - training is provided. Specialty units require and will provide specific specialty education.

This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
