Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Specialist to elevate assisted living care across two MA communities. This role emphasizes oversight of health teams, regulatory compliance, policy updates, and leadership of Health & Wellness Directors to ensure optimal staffing and patient outcomes.

The position requires MA RN licensure, experience in long‑term care or assisted living, and strong computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Massachusetts is required.
• Preferred background in long-term care or assisted living.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or related dementias is a plus.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new applications.

Responsibilities

• Support teams and oversee department compliance, planning, assessments, staffing and budgeting.
• Conduct periodic resident assessments and ensure documentation meets regulations.
• Perform compliance visits and ensure care plans reflect physician orders and policies.
• Lead training for Health & Wellness Directors and manage staffing levels.
• Develop and monitor department budgets for staffing and supplies.
• Audit resident assessments, care plans, and documentation in EHR/EMAR.
