Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cath lab procedures under physician supervision with patient safety in focus.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, documenting vitals and events.
• Maintain accurate procedural logs, case capture, and documentation for compliance and quality metrics.
• Identify and elevate variances in patient condition or procedure to supervisors promptly.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, hospital, and safety policies in all cath lab activities.
• Assist in procedural setup, equipment readiness, and sterile technique adherence.
• Proactively seek learning opportunities to grow into advanced cath lab competencies and leadership.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth workflow and target-driven outcomes.
• Assist with post-procedure recovery details, including patient education and discharge planning.
• Demonstrate high visibility in work activities through accurate reporting and proactive communication.
• Contribute to pipeline and territory planning by tracking cases, trends, and potential referrals.

Experience / Qualifications

• RN licensure with active state nursing license.
• Cath Lab/IR experience with procedural assistance and sterile technique.
• Ability to monitor vitals and document events for pre-, intra-, post-procedure periods.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, hospital, and safety policies in cath lab.
• Accurate procedural logging and case capture for quality metrics.
• Proactive communication and escalation of variances to supervisors.
• Assist with procedural setup, equipment readiness, and instrument handling.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn advanced cath lab competencies and leadership.
• Effective teamwork with multidisciplinary staff and target-driven workflow.
• Post-procedure recovery support, patient education, and discharge planning.
