Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practiced state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse and certified nursing assistants.
• Transcribes physician orders to medical record and carries out orders as written; administers medications as ordered.
• Performs wound treatments and IV administration as indicated.
• Schedules follow up appointments for residents and coordinates transportation.
• Provides nursing leadership and participates in interdisciplinary team discussions.
