Job summary

Good Samaritan in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized care using the nursing process across all phases of care. The role collaborates with patients, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The position supports day shifts with 8-hour shifts and a 32-hour work week, with a focus on quality care in a not-for-profit, Christian environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred (AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• One year of long term care or medical/surgical experience preferred.
• Licensed as an RN in the state of practice; multistate licensure accepted in NLC states.
• Maintains required certifications and CEUs.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized patient care.
• Collaborates with patients, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Cares for patients/residents across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel.
