Job summary

Oak Plains Academy is a 98‑bed residential treatment program offering psychiatric services to children and adolescents. The professional team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the treatment program, including ongoing assessment and documentation.
• Administer medications accurately and maintain documentation as per facility policy.
• Participate in individual care plan formulation and implementation.
• Perform proper HWC techniques, ensuring safety of patients and staff.
• Complete debriefings as indicated.
• Serve as a role model to staff and students in dress and demeanor.
