Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Nursing Staffing Services department. The role provides professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, BSN within the specified timeframe for new hires after 2012, and a Florida RN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or diploma program.
• For new hires after 2012, BSN is required within the specified timeframe as outlined in policy 126.045.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).

• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.

Preferred Education

BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Required License and Certs

• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
• FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License

Preferred License and Certs

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
