Job summary

WorkFit Medical is seeking a compassionate 1:1 School RN in Brighton, NY. The role provides 1:1 nursing support for a student during the school day, with hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:45 PM and pay starting at $35/hr.

The RN will deliver care tailored to children, build a supportive relationship with the student, and respond to health needs on campus. A NY RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in NY.
• Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills tailored towards children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to a student during the school day.
• Monitor student health needs and respond to emergencies as they arise.
• Coordinate with school staff and parents to ensure continuity of care.
