Job summary

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a Certified School Nurse (CSN) for the 2026-2027 school year in Country Club Hills, IL. The CSN coordinates the school health program and serves as the health resource for staff to enhance wellbeing in the school community.

The RN nursing degree with an active IL license and BLS with AED are required, along with at least 1 year of related experience. The role focuses on preventive care, crisis response, and student support.

Qualifications

RN Nursing degree from accredited school of nursing at the Bachelor’s Degree level.
Active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice. Active PEL.
BLS with AED.
1 year of work experience in the area of practice or per client requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to fit in as a team member and work independently.

Responsibilities

Provide direct professional nursing services, first aid, illness and emergency care to students.
Identify health problems and make referrals for diagnosis and treatment; develop educational modifications; provide follow-up and documentation.
Provide counseling and follow-up services to students with disabilities as delineated in IEP/504.
Follow up on homebound students needing related health care services.
Support health education programs for children and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Develop and implement medication protocols for safe storage, administration, and documentation.
