Description:Client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse to provide 1:1 nursing support for a student with disabilities and significant medical needs.This position plays a critical role in ensuring the student’s health, safety, and access to education within the school environment.The nurse may be required to travel locally for transportation to and from school.The nurse will work collaboratively with school staff, related service providers, and families to support the student throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care to a student with complex medical and/or physical needs in accordance with physician orders, nursing care plans, and the student’s Individual Education Plan.Monitor the student’s health status and respond appropriately to medical needs during the school day, as well as positioning.Administer medications and medical treatments as prescribed.Support safe participation in academic, social, and school-based activities.
