Job summary

Responsibilities

• Answer Centralized Scheduling phones to accept outpatient orders.
• Schedule outpatient and inpatient tests and procedures per scheduler module.
• Verify insurance and pre-certification; collect data for insurance billing.
• Obtain physician orders and coordinate with physician offices for scheduling.
• Provide information to admitting staff and assist with patient registration.
