Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking an experienced RN for its Outpatient Float Pool. The role supports multiple SAMG clinics across the Treasure Valley, with schedules varying by location and need, including 5 eight-hour shifts, 4 ten-hour shifts, or 3 twelve-hour shifts.

Flexibility is required for rotating, mixed days, weekends, and evenings. You will provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, mentor clinical staff, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining patient

Qualifications

• Nursing experience in ambulatory/clinic settings preferred.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing from ACEN or CCNE-accredited program.
• RN license in Idaho; multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days; Oregon RN license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA, ARC or Military Training Network required at hire.

We are looking to hire an RN for our Outpatient Float Pool! This position will support various Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Clinics (SAMG) across the Treasure Valley.

*Schedules will vary based on clinic location and need - Ex of weekly schedules; 5 8 hr shifts, 4 10 hr shifts, 3 12 hr shifts. We do need this applicant to have a flexible schedule, as the schedule is subject to change and can include a mixture of rotating, mixed days, weekends, and or evenings.

POSITION SUMMARY & HIGHLIGHTS

As an RN in the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, you will provide skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers while promoting a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness. You will administer medications, maintain a safe nursing area, and provide education and resources to patients and families based on their needs. RN's are also expected to serve as a mentor to clinical staff, maintain accurate documentation, and preserve confidential information.

General Requirements

• Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Education

• An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.

License/Certification

• Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• All colleagues must provide licensure or proof of application in process for an Oregon RN license within 90 days of the hire date.

Basic Life Support

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
