Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Gig Harbor, WA seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in the Same Day Surgery setting. You will assess, perform skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

The role requires WA RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS upon hire, ACLS within 90 days, and PALS within 6 months. Travel to the main OR may be required to support staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of an approved OR program or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year previous OR experience.
• Registered Nurse license for Washington (WA) upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Same Day Surgery- Gig Harbor, WA

• Small team, which consiist of RN, Tech, 2 GYN physicans, 1 Neurologist, 2 Urologists, 1 Podertist
• Flexible work schedule, no weekends, no holidays
• Potential to travel to the Main OR at SJMC, due to staffing needs

Job Requirements

Required
