Job summary

UC Health in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Operational Improvement Specialist to provide on-site safety support across clinical domains, advancing safety improvement aligned with our health system's strategic vision.

The role collaborates with clinical staff and safety teams to perform trend analysis, support RCAs, and promote a culture of safety through education and proactive problem-solving across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences - Alternative Bachelors considered when there is additional relevant health care experience/education.
• Active RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• 1 - 3 Years relevant experience - Minimum Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site safety support and assist in advancing safety improvement efforts aligned with clinical domains.
• Collaborate with Clinical Domain(s) and other groups to support safety initiatives and data-driven improvements.
• Assist in transparent reporting, RCA support, and proactive problem solving to promote a culture of safety.
