Job summary

Moab Regional Hospital in Utah is seeking an Oncology Nurse to join a growing rural program. You will provide dedicated, one-on-one care and education to patients and families, coordinating treatment and resources to support the cancer journey close to home.

Work alongside an experienced Nurse Practitioner, wound care and pharmacy teams, and regional specialists to shape a patient-centered program and advance your professional growth through certification and ongoing education.

Qualifications

  • Current Utah RN License or Compact RN License.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
  • ONS/ONCC certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Wound Care Certification or ability to obtain within 2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Administer infusion therapies, including chemotherapy.
  • Educate patients and caregivers.
  • Coordinate care with physicians and regional oncology specialists.
  • Support patient navigation and care coordination.
  • Monitor treatment response.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Assist wound care specialists in assessment and management of complex wounds.
  • Pursue ongoing education and specialty certification.
