Seven Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Staff Development Nurse / Risk Manager who will lead QAPI activities, staff education, and risk management initiatives in a 156-bed skilled nursing facility. The role interacts with physicians, patients, and families to improve care quality.

The position requires RN licensure, CPR certification, and long-term care experience, with preferred leadership and PointClickCare familiarity.

Qualifications

• RN with CPR certification.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Working knowledge of PointClickCare preferred.
• Experience as a Nurse Manager or in a leadership role preferred.
• Staff Development and Risk Management experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate QAPI programs to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, incidents, and compliance trends.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Track risk data to improve resident safety and reduce liability.
• Develop risk prevention policies and plans of correction.
• Collaborate with leadership to strengthen facility safety.
• Promote residents’ rights, dignity, and well-being.
